Dear colleagues/Facebook friends, My Trip(5th September-12th October) to Upper Dolpo(Also known as Inner Dolpo)area of Mid-western Nepal with an American group went well and trip was great success. Weather been in our favor except snowfall on 1st and 2nd of October at Shey Gompa area. Four High passes including Tsola,Musi-la, Yang-la and Kang la all are nearly and over 17000ft and views of snow clad Mountains and Tibetan plateu were mesmerizing. However- very sad for the recent blizzard/snowstorm/avalanches in many part of the Himalaya;specially in Annapurna/Thorong-la area. RIP to those who lost their life and wish a speedy recovery to those who are severely injured. I appeal local people of Manang and Mustang;specially lodge owners to volunteer and assist Nepal Police and Army to find missing Tourists/Guides/Porters. Thanks!!!
