Dear fans and supporters, Ethreal is everything I wanted it to be thus far. The music.. the soul of it. Its passion to stay true to itself is what I am most proud of. From the first show we played in a garage/ house party to opening for Born of Osiris at the Meridian, to being mainstage at Houstons House of Blues, and finally... the big stage in Dallas for the SBSW Tour. In my eyes this band has accomplished great things... And I love it for that. There is no easy way to say this, but I have decided to take a break from music. For 9 years of my life, Ethreal has been number one.. and I regret nothing. Ive come to terms though that Ive been missing something in life. My heart and my soul tell me that I will pursue other endeavors in life and re-evaluate things. Through prayer and meditation Ive come to peace with this, and wish the band nothing but the best. Ill be soul searching, taking a walk with the great Architect and finding myself and who I am without music. Ethreal will live on, and continue its path to full realization. And to the band: I love you guys, we pass the torch to you. Make your dreams a reality. To the fans: Thank you all for everything. You made my life something special and the memories I hold will never be forgotten. Keep supporting Ethreal, they aint done.. yet. - Adan To all supporters and believers in Ethreal, The sole purpose of Ethreal from day one was to inspire and enlighten the inner musical soul that lives in anyone that has ever listened to our music. Over nearly a decade, Ive poured my life and passion into doing just that.. practice, meetings and shows. Not a single second of it was in vain so long as the message and influence Ethreal had on my life and possibly the lives of others is acknowledged. I, as the final founding member of the band would like to formally announce my resignation from Ethreal. Its a decision Ive wrestled with for some time now.. and due to recent personal health matters, and a pursuit of a new dream, it has been made crystal clear now. Whether or not I am permanently done with music is yet to be determined.. but my days with Ethreal are done for now. I want to thank every single person.. who ever came to a show, came to a practice, talked about us, thanked us, supported us in the slightest of shape or form. I am eternally grateful and will NEVER forget the experiences Ive had with all of the musicians that were ever a part of Ethreal. The band will persevere however, 3 core members remain and will carry the flame on to bigger and better things. In the words of my personal favorite song weve ever written, I hope to instill them in any person putting effort into anything they hold important in life.
