Dear food store manager, Id like to bring to your attention a serious issue. Some of your customers are seriously lacking in shopping etiquette. This is an important issue because those of us with manners and common courtesy are finding ourselves suffering stress related health issues while attempting to shop in the company of the less skilled. In fact I will go so far as to say your establishment has become a hostile place to shop for basic necessities. As a solution I offer 2 suggestions. 1st. Id like to see each isle of your store have a dedicated lane for those who have yet to master handling their shopping carts. The decision of who uses these lanes would be made by those of us who are skilled cart users and this would be a great stress reliever for us. I feel these patrons would quickly become skilled because they would finally experience the effects of not being courteous. I estimate that they should remain in the lacking courtesies lane for no less than 2 months or 16 store visits which ever is grater. 2nd I offer up myself to train the less fortunate cart handlers. I will gladly shop with a group of no more than 5. We could meet weekly and I will go over the basic skills, such as how to avoid creating a traffic jamb of carts. Other skills Id cover include but are not limited to... Listening to other shoppers when they say excuse me. How not to make rude grunting noises when you fail to listen and another customer moves your cart a whopping 3 feet! as compensation for my efforts Id like a 20% discount on my purchases. Thank you in advance for your prompt consideration to this increasing dilemma. Carol
