Dear friends, I appreciate so much how friends far and near are doing so much to help us and support us. WHAT AN OUTPOURING OF THE TRUE LOVE OF CHRIST SHINING THROUGH YOU! For those who dont know, Andys parents had a gas leak in their home. We lost his dad, John, and his mother is in the hospital unconscious, and the doctors dont expect her to live. We are trying not to be overwhelmed by this enormous hole now in our everyday lives. They came to everything we did and cheered us on. We ate together often. Talked on the phone daily. They helped bus kids back and forth. They sang with us. Prayed with us. Their home felt like an extension of our home. They were awesome parents/in-laws/grandparents. For me personally, Peggy was one of my all-time favorites to discuss and study the Bible with. What amazing wisdom! And her incredible, unmatched cheerfulness and joy in the Lord! So much love from them that will no longer be experienced in such a concrete way. Their lives were living Christs love, shining true light in our lives every day....continue to pray for peace as she and the family wait for her to go, or to see a miracle.
