Dear friends, Im gonna try to keep this short and sweet: I am pleased to announce that, following my interview with UCs medical school last week, I have been accepted into that very school for that very program. Of medicine! At UC! Accepted! Those of you who have been keeping up with me know how huge a deal this is, so I wanted to share some of that joy with you. For you others...um...I dunno. This is what Ive been up to since high school, I guess? No, now Im just embarrassed, sorry to bother you. Anyways, for all of those who supported me, learned with me, or grew to love medicine with me, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Its not just a cheezy cliche to say that none of this would have been possible without the loving and supportive community that I find myself a part of. So bust out your fictional, metaphorical champagne glasses and toast with me: heres to all of you, some cool cadavers, crippling debt, and four more years in Cincinnati!
