Dear friends.... Sketch and Line India (SALI)is just 10 days old now...but your response to this group is very encouraging and supportive and beyond what we imagined ...From 7 year old boy to retired masters in sketching and painting are now our members . Many fine art students and art lovers with good idea of contemporary art are also members in our group. Friends .. ours (SALI) is a great family which has no boundary of states or language or degree in fine Arts or whether you are a student or professionals you can be a member. It is a place where any one can participate,enjoy,and post their work.. But only request to you all is to try to post sketches,drawing using ink,pen,pencils,charcoals or any such media....because many talented artists who makes only illustrations and sketches are denied opportunity to post their work in other groups like water colour, oil painting groups etc.( We are not blaming them... certainly they are working for encouraging such artists in those ares...we have to appreciate their efforts..not only that if sketches are mixed with beautiful water colour paintings or other paintings, the importance of their basic aim will be lost..we understand that...we always like to love those groups for their incredible efforts in this media..) So to give an opportunity to all those artists who do only sketching and drawings,and also to help other up coming or little known artists to show case their work SALI has come to existence. You know that sketching is the back bone of any good painting... You can excel in sketching here. See the works of great artists.pare yourself...study their works...Analise and improve... Later we can plan something...we can organize this group in a better way with proper administration ..policy...future plan and for a better shape & view....now let us concentrate in contributing good works, make more fine art students as members... make more retired fine arts professors and artists are members. so that one day we can see this group as the best in this country.
