Dear friends, Today, the 16th of April, is the Holocaust Day in Hungary. Today, we remember the tragedy of the Hungarian Jews, which happened 70 years ago. This day reminds us of our common duty, which is very clear: *It is not enough to be good; we must know to do when we face evil. *It is not enough to know what we stand for; we must know what we stand against. A child born today will never meet a Holocaust survivor. This is why must educate our own children about democracy and tolerance. We must also teach them to actively reject Anti- Semitisim, Anti-Zionism, fanaticism and xenophobia. This day, the16th of April, serves as a living memory for the Holocaust victims and reminds all of us that we have a sacred obligation to ourselves and to the generations to come, to remember what happened in the SHOA and never to forgrt, as a lesson and as a warning.
