Dear friends and family, I am writing concerning my plans for next year and to ask for your assistance. As you may know, my beloved Dad Pierrot passed away this year due to cancer. I have promised myself that Ill do something, like volunteering or raising some funds for those who are going through this valley of darkness. My hearts desire to achieve this project was like a a biennial telethon or concert. As you can imagine, the cost of such a project in Mauritius is quite high. I have learned that the Transport alone is almost Rs 50,000 (and higher in 2015) and other expenses. I will try to help as much as possible to help with the cost. Any money raised can be used in different areas... e.g buying wigs or hairpieces for those coping with hair loss (especially the ladies and teenagers) or hats, caps, bandanas that they can wear... or creating a leisure gym for the survivors. We now have hard evidence that simple physical activity can significantly help prevent cancer reoccurrence and also other long-term illnesses and many more can be achieved ... Please consider making a small donation to help fund this special event. No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted... Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
