Dear friends and loved ones. Many of you know that my mom has been going through a long battle with cancer. Although she fought a very long and hard fight, and was cancer free for a few great months, her illness has returned. Her excellent medical team has informed us that the best thing we can do now is to take care of her physical needs and keep her as comfortable as possible. This type of treatment is called hospice care. I have attached a link to wikipedia for those of you who do not know what that term means, it is a scary word for some of us. However, this means to our family that my mom will be taken care of by professionals in her own home, with her own family and friends by her side and wont have to spend weeks and months in hospitals. I want to thank all of you for your kind words of support and love to my family over the last year and a half, it has meant so much to all of us.
