Dear friends from everywhere, Moldova, my country of origin, has a beautiful tradition of celebrating Spring, the time of rebirth, hope, color and beauty. This all encompassing celebration, which displays a firework of art, music, dance food, and whatever the country has the best to offer, is usually taking place at the beginning of March. The Moldovan community in the US, however, still struggling to escape this long winter, will host such celebration on Saturday, May 10, from 4 to 8 pm, in Philadelphia (9808 Bustleton Ave, Unit H, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19115). But besides the immense fun we guarantee you will have at that unique event, we also believe in the true statement that WE MAKE A LIVING BY WHAT WE HAVE AND A LIFE BY WHAT WE GIVE. Therefore, the event will also include a fundraiser in support of the Regina Pacis Foundation in Chisinau, dedicated to provide a roof and affection to the orphan children and daily hot meals to elderly, who are unable to support themselves.
