Dear friends of The Salem Witch Walk, we need your help! The folks who sell our tickets, a partner of TripAdvisor, rewrote our tour to sound like a 1692 history tour rather than the magical REAL Witchcraft tour it is, and, while they have since graciously fixed their mistake, we have received one star reviews complaining about the lack of 1692 and Salem history. It would be like complaining about an Italian restaurant for not having Egg Foo Yung and, since TripAdvisor editors themselves do not understand (or do not want to understand) the distinction between REAL Witches and the Puritans who were executed 321 years ago, they are being difficult in removing those reviews. Sure, we do mention the trials, because talking about real Witches in Salem is impossible to do without such a mention, but that is not our focus, nor is it how we want to promote ourselves. We want our participants to learn about real Witchcraft and the power to change their lives through the understanding of the magic that is all around us and that is how we have always described what we do so such reviews are unfair.
