Title: “Methods for working with large groups” Place; Chisinau, Moldova when; May 11-18, 2014 number of participants; 4 For the project “Methods for working with large groups” that will take place in Chisinau, Moldova between 11 May 2014 and 18 May 2014. By participating in this training course, youth leaders will have the opportunity to acquire new tools of working with large groups in order to increase the quality of Youth Work around Europe and to gain a higher understanding of culture and language learning. The training will gather 36 youth leaders coming from Moldova, Armenia, Malta, Romania, Ukraine, Denmark, Azerbaijan, Spain, Portugal and Georgia. The participants will develop and share tools, knowledge and attitudes for the facilitation of working with large groups of young people. Finally, the aim of this training is to strengthen the participants’ capacity to conduct youth exchange initiatives gathering large groups of young people with fewer possibilities, to increase the quality of Youth Work and to support the development and implementation of innovative EU youth projects in local communities. Various non-formal learning methods will be used within the program of activities which is designed to encourage reflection, interaction, and peer to peer learning. Types of activities include presentations, both by trainers and participants, group activities and team-building exercises, discussions and games. The accommodation 100 percent and 70 percent of travel costs are covered by organizers.
