Dear friends, yesterday evening late, when things settled down, I finished the watercolor O Christmas tree wall hanging. I will post pics tomorrow for sure. I found out that if I post it here, my friend cant see it because shes not on this site. Now if you dear people dont mind, I have some questions. I tried to use gold metallic thread to attach the cording?? ?..its supposed to represent tinsel. I used a metallic needle, lessened the tension and speed. And I was furious at how much trouble I was having. Thread breakage, and when I finally got it out from under the pressure foot, I had one balled up mess of thread on the back. The thread didnt play well with my 50 wt cotton thread. Bobbin thread matched the backing. Can yall tell me how in the world to properly sew with metallic thread? I have watched lots of youtube videos today. Works on camera, but not for me. Should I have used a stabilizer? Or embroidery thread in the bobbin instead of cotton? If you have sewn with this stuff, can you please tell me how you did it? Problems? I think these were sulky. Right now I am sulking.....lol. if I cant figure it out, about 8 spools are going to be used next year in the tomatoes! Hehe Advice pleeeeeeeease.
