Dear good friend If you happen to be in Kent or Medway Towns on Sunday afternoons, don’t hesitate to look for us as we will be somewhere very close breaking bread or cracking nuts together while sharing a few scriptures What makes our gathering distinct is the fact that this is where human spirit transcends the norms of religious boundaries, the seventh day Christian can look in the eyes of a catholic friend and the Pentecostal preacher man shake the hands of a Presbyterian in genuine harmony, with no one eager to promote his agenda but that Christ died and rose again, and that everyone who calls on his name shall be saved irrespective of which denomination they congregate The other week we studied the first chapter of the book of Ephesians and everyone who attended can testify, it was a soul touching and heart teaching session where we learnt that instead of running around with rumours of who did what or how they, him or her are faring, as members of one body of Christ, God has given us a responsibility to be brothers and sisters keepers Imagine if the apostle Paul or Peter were to write you a letter and hinted that you are always in their mind, and since they came to know you, have not ceased to give thanks to God and pray for you. How would you feel? This is how the body of Christ should be. Instead of tearing one another or competing with each other, we should be there for each other in trying moments or thank God when one of us excels in some areas of life In view of this, I write to you with a special prayer request. You may know or have read about the Artistic musician and evangelist Carman Licciardell. He was recently diagnosed with cancer and has been given 3 to 4 year window of lifetime, but this is the report of the doctors. We can believe otherwise. Mention his name next time you pray to God not because you want to promote his agenda but that Christ lives and is able to do beyond what we can ask or imagine.
