Dear part-time parents please keep these things in mind bc as a primary parent and a teacher I see these things daily and it angers me but also hurts me to... 1. The full time parent does far more than u and always has their childrens best interest in mind! 2. When u spend 4 to 6 days a month w ur children or less, u really have no idea what is best for those kids bc u hardly know what they do or are interested in! 3. U should b thankful when the primary parent is a great parent and would do anything for those kids, there are so few out there! 4. Ur doing whatever u want while the other parent is drying tears, mending wounds, going over vocabulary words, etc., so dont dare think u have a right to all the sudden be parent of the year material. 5. Be thankful if the primary parent puts ur childrens best interest before what u think is best, again ur not around to even really know ur kids! 6. And dont ever think ur kids dont recognize which one is always there and which one just shows up to put on a show when they actually do show up to something. 7. If u r lucky enough to have a primary parent that tries to communicate and b supportive, never saying a bad word about u, dont be a butt cause eventually they will get fed up! 8. And remember, ever bit of wrong u do to the other also wrongs ur children! 9. Most importantly please do not say bad things about the other parent because it really hurts the child more than u know. 10. When u have ur kids spend time with them and dont yell and scream, u see them so little anyways, be their superhero!
