Dear sweet friends. Just a quick update to let you all know that I am doing extremely well. Getting better and stronger by the hour. I type this on my dumbphone from a lovely little place of quiet repose, below the little chapel in the grounds of Nanyuki Cottage Hospital where the sound of constant birdsong and the chattery babble of the river fill the air. It looks as though I will be out of here tomorrow and then I will take steps to pack up my things and move back to Nairobi by the end of the week. Thenceforth I will live a rather nomadic gypsy lifestyle, staying with amazing friends in all parts of beautiful Kenya, whilst I ponder the longer term. First a few weeks in the gorgeous South of France with my brother Rob and his lovely family, to refresh myself and come back well rested for my safaris in August and September, and ready for the exciting journey ahead. Once again, a million thanks and huge hugs to you all for your kind comments, offers of help, and the love and charity you have given me over the last few weeks. Thank you.
