Dear zane, I know this may stir up alot, but I have noticed in alot of your missing persons pictures, in the comments people are complaining about why they wont do amber alerts and what not. I wonder if your readers are aware that amber alerts are for abducted children not missing. That unless someone saw these people get taken or there is evidence of being taken most likely the police will not post an amber alert. Dont get me wrong my heart goes out to each and everyone of those missing persons, especially Im the society we live in today and think there should be another type of alert for those that they dont classify as amber. MY RESPONSE: I totally agree and you are correct that a lot of people on my page question it if there is not an Amber Alert. Most people do not realize the difference. Now I hope that they will. Also, it would be good to have another type of alert, specifically for people under the age of 18. To do it for every single person who goes missing might make people too complacent and they will overlook it altogether after a time. Thanks for sharing.
