Dearest Taliban, We understand the last 12 years have been difficult for you. You have been hunted at every turn, forced into hiding in the deepest, darkest holes and your name is synonymous with cowardly and radical acts of violence. I know, lifes hard. I however would like to point out that your recent statement concerning Canadians is a tad off the mark. The Canadians who crossed the Atlantic are now retreating back to hide in their safe-havens, is incorrect. Firstly, the timing on this statement is rather funny as you waited until we left to speak up. Smart move not saying this to our face as we may have taken it as an insult and promptly jerseyd the lot of you on the spot. Secondly, your statements about Canada coming to Kandahar with dreams of colonization is unfortunately, very wrong. Why would we want to live there when we have maple syrup and beer by the truck-load back home? Lastly, and you should listen very carefully to this last part, we do not retreat. Canadian soldiers have put their hearts into what they, and we, feel are great advances for Your home, at great person al sacrifice to ourselves. So enjoy the time you have but be warned, well be keeping an eye on things. Try not to get too rowdy. - Canada
