Death Letter has been performed by many famous performers, including: The Blues Band, Grateful Dead, John Mellencamp, Chris Thomas King, David Johansen, The White Stripes and The Tallest Man on Earth. The White Stripes have performed the song at the Grammy Awards of 2004.
