Death has been announced of Malawi’s High Commissioner to Tanzania, Flossie Gomile Chidyaonga. Officials in the ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation say she died on Friday in Dar-es-Salaam after a short illness. Since 2006, Gomile-Chidyaonga served as Deputy High Commissioner at Malawi High Commission in London, before being appointed as Malawi High Commissioner to the United Republic of Tanzania in September, 2011. Government officials were yet to announce the funeral arrangements.
