Debbie and I attended the encore showing of "Springsteen & I" last - TopicsExpress

Debbie and I attended the encore showing of "Springsteen & I" last night. I must report that it was excellent! It was extremely funny, sincere, emotional, and uplifting. Personal stories from fans all over the world, great concert footage (including a never before seen footage of Jungleland that looked like it was from late 1976 or early 1977 from maybe The Bottom Line). Plus extra concert footage of Hyde Park in London from 2012, and bonus coverage of Bruce actually meeting some of the fans who were featured in the movie. There were a lo of funny and emotional stories that I would like to share, but I do not want to spoil anything for those who have not scene the movie yet. I think most of the world knows that the story of the man who was the "Philly Elvis" at a show in 2012 is featured, along with the now famous scene from Copenhagen were Bruce plays 3 songs with a street performer in 1988. That man tells his story 25 years later. The movie made me think about how I use to listen to Born To Run every morning on an 8-track in my car before I went into work at a job I hated 28 years ago. I needed to hear it to get myself mentally prepared for a day that I never looked forward to. Debbie an I highly recommend seeing this movie. Even if you are not a Springsteen fan (as was one man in the movie during a very funny interview), it will make you feel good about life.
