December 18, 2014 Dear Mr. Provencher: Pursuant to §1-210 and §1-211 of the Freedom of Information Act (C.G.S. §1-200 et seq.), please provide the following public records: A copy of the audio recording of the December 16, 2014 Board of Commissioners meeting. Copies of any and all documents, including emails and electronic files about TFD or Chief Frank Alaimo sent, received, or in the possession and control of members of the Board of Fire Commissioners from May 15, 2014 to the present. Since it is common for fire commissioners to use personal email addresses to communicate about district business, I am requesting that counsel conduct a search of any and all personal email accounts under the use and control of members of the Board of Commissioners for emails responsive to this request. Furthermore, I am requesting that counsel create a privilege log for any documents which he considers exempt from this request and provide that log along with responsive documents. Copies of any and all documents, including emails and electronic files, from Jeffrey Cross, including but not limited to emails from or about the Concerned Taxpayers of Thompsonville Fire District, sent, received, or in the possession and control of members of the Board of Fire Commissioners from May 15, 2014 to the present. Since it is common for fire commissioners to use personal email addresses to communicate about district business, I am requesting that counsel conduct a search of any and all personal email accounts under the use and control of members of the Board of Commissioners for emails responsive to this request. Furthermore, I am requesting that counsel create a privilege log for any documents which he considers exempt from this request and provide that log along with responsive documents. Furthermore, I request than any and all fees for complying with with this FOI request, including, but not limited to copying fees, computer research fees, etc., be waived pursuant to §1-212(d)(1), on account of my indigence. Upon request, I can substantiate my indigence by mailing you a copy of my IRS Form 1040 for 2013. Thank you for your prompt compliance with this important request.
