December is the month when families put of their Christmas trees or as we call it in our home our Memory Tree. Tradition in our home is to open an ornament every Christmas Eve and it will be representative of an event from that year. Day 19: Grace has always shown her creative side growing up. Grace enjoyed doing arts and crafts at school and at home and often was found at the kitchen table creating her visions. Paint by numbers came next and she completed many of those. Grace then moved on to simple drawings as kids do (I still have 2 framed in our tv room), creating with clay and paining on anything made of fabric. Later came the cake decorating and the more in depth drawing and painting and writing of stories but throughout it all her passion for Photography has shown through. This ornament is more representative of her love for art and crafts but it also reminds me how creativity flows through Grace in all areas of her life.
