Decided to check out any of the churches open. Started out at 1000 with pix of the Presidential Palace which is just across the square from the hoteL Then the church just down from the Palace but not open. Knew the Cathedral of St Martin was open till 1130. 2euro entry cost, and pix were allowed throughout including flash. Treasury was open and the crypt. Not the part with the skulls on show!!. The Poor Clares church seems not longer a church and apartments abut it. The one in the old town square is now a museum. Wandered around the old town section i had not yet done. Then a coffee and lunch of salmon bruschettas - and very nice too. Found a post office!! and got all the postcards sent.. Being lazy and out of the sun rest of afternoon, and finish off my Inspector Wexford novel.
