Dee Sam Mbakwe of blessed memory was in opposition party as a governor but he was able to attract meaningful federal projects to Imo state. Ex-Governor Peter Obi of Anambra state was in opposition party but was able to attract Federal government projects to his state. Gov. Mimiko is in opposition political party but he has attracted several federal government projects to Ondo including the multi billion naira power plant commisioned recently. The new governor of Anambra state Chief Willie Obiano paid a courtesy visit to the Hon. Minister of works during the week and asked for his assistance in the further development of Anambra. Willie is also in an opposition platform. Now these are what I call leaders. Leaders dont allow their followers to miss what is due to them because of their selfish personal interest. Leaders dont play politics of rancour and bickery. Leaders are never over ambitious,most times they look back and allow their followers to say GO AHEAD...You will agree with me that a particular south-easthern supposed leader has failed in all these aspects so tell me what qualifies him a leader?.
