Deep Cleansing Masks Whether you are on a tight budget or just prefer to use natural ingredients on your skin, a homemade deep cleansing mask is easy to make. All skin types can benefit from a deep cleansing. However, people with oily skin can use the mask most often--up to twice a week--while others may use it once a week. Homemade deep cleansing masks draw out dirt and oil from the pores using items found in nature. Things you need - Two small bowls, 1 tbsp powdered brewers yeast, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tbsp plain yoghurt Instructions - 1 Using a spoon, mix together 1 tbsp of powdered brewers yeast, 1 tsp of lemon juice, 1/2 tbsp of plain yoghurt, 1 tsp of olive oil, 1 tsp of orange juice and 1 tsp of carrot juice into a paste in a small bowl. 2 Apply the face mask to your face using your fingers. Leave this deep cleansing mask on for 15 minutes. Wash off the mask using a soft washcloth and warm water. 3 Use a fork to mash up a papaya in a small bowl. Using your fingers, apply this pulp to your face. Leave it on your skin for approximately 15 minutes. 4 Wash off the face mask using a soft washcloth and warm water. Be gentle when washing it off.
