This is an excellent opportunity to join an engineering company who have recently invested in new machinery. Theyre now looking to invest in skilled workers with the right attitude to keep their business moving forward. Working on parts up to 10 meters in length, setting parts true with the aid of DTI scribing block spiders and steadys. Working to close tolerances and forming angles, radius and flat bottom with use of form tools. You will be required to set your own tooling and work on both manual and CNC controlled deep hole boring machines with different types of materials ranging from carbon and stainless steels and alloy materials that are used in the oil and gas industries. Candidates must be apprentice trained or have equivalent experience, be able to set your own tooling and have experience of large components. This position comes with a pay rate between £9.50 - £12.35ph depending on experience levels, nights will be paid at time and a third (£12.66 - £16.46ph) and overtime is paid at time and a half (£14.25 - £18.52ph). They also offer free car parking, a pension scheme, 32 days annual leave, as well as a monthly bonus and a loyalty bonus after a period of service.
