Deep breath…well, we had an interesting day yesterday- Connor failed the newborn congenital cardiac screening test- they couldnt get a good oxygen saturation reading, so we had to take him into Childrens ER yesterday. Um…..I am going to skip relaying my emotional state at this point! ;) So we get him there, and his sat looks good….he gets seen by a zillion people, 5 hours later they decide NOT to do the echocardiogram and chest film…fine by me…. we decided he threw the testing in hopes of meeting Russell Wilson…who was not there yesterday! :0 silly baby!!! (and potential scanner error/operation error …….grrrrrr…….) So TODAY he is great. He finally is waking up and alert a bit- he is a VERY mellow/chill baby (so far- but he has felt this way to me the whole last 9 months….) he is a GREAT nurser (milk cam in day 2- so awesome… now t he is waking up to nurse…he is just THE SWEETEST THING…SUCH a love bug. I think he is going to let me wear him- so excited about that…he is just THE BEST. I feel like I am recovering well…better than Ds birth- thanks Connor for coming early and not being SOOOOO big! Yesterday was hard…I was not ready to be out of bed, walking, deaing with stuff…so I have some increase in pain, but nothing my plant stem cells, GRT lite and oils cant handle. I am so blessed…..I love my family sooo much. Chris Sheehan is the best, my daughter is the best- so sweet- she LOVES her baby……my family is here helping out…..so I am lucky…and I have awesome friends and patients that are supportive. Guess the oxytocin must be flowing, huh? ;) lol
