Deep, deep, deep stuff!! Fathers now a days need to see how much they do effect their kids lives just as much as mommies and understand why their wife, baby mom, mother of their child, is so hard on their asses. Coming from experience, it is just like this and men now a days need to really be re taught what the definition of a FATHER is cause some dont have it in their nature or didnt have a good one themselves so when its their turn, they get lost and dont know what to do cause they never had it role modeled to them. But either way, it shouldnt be excuses cause you do gotta think, would I be okay if my daughter was to have a man like me as her babies father or would I be okay with my son being that type of father to my grandkids? Men needs to go to parenting classes just as much as mommies cause our little ones are the future and what we do and teach effects what they do and teach us when we no longer can do it ourselves. Dont be another statistic, dont be another number in the welfare line, and if you are, break the cycle and make sure your babies dont have to stand in that same damn line. You were there struggling while they were small, why teach them the same struggle?? Our love for them is way much more than that line. All the struggles we been through shouldnt be the ones they walk too. There is so much more to life and its up to us as parents to teach them that. Dont tell kids to have kids to get paid from the government. Teach them about work ethics, professionalism, and teach them how to save and balance their money. Teach them things that will help in their life to not be like you. Not saying you arent good, but right now our young parents are starting to follow a cycle of baby moms, baby dads, single parents, divorcees and the only ones suffering just like us, is our kids and the generations to come. Do you see with circle yet?? If you havent, if youre parents are divorced, a single parent, you never seen your dad/mom and you going through shit with the person who helped made your kids, then you going through it. How you think our parents ended up that way?? By making the same mistakes as us and teaching us the same by putting us in the middle to make it our subconscious norm and now that we go through it, it seems normal and okay cause we been there once before. But we need to SNAP OUT OF IT!!! Pull your shit together cause our OUR BABIES are INNOCENT and DESERVE WAY MORE THAN US!!!! So how would you feel if this was your 23 year old child saying this to you??? Why wait until then and not now to correct it and make their life better even if you were never around. MISTAKES are decisions which CAN be mended, going back in time is IMPOSSIBLE but we live in the PRESENT, for our FUTURE to be POSSIBLE. So what are you teaching your babies??? -Melysa
