Deeply disappointed by Modis Madison speech. -First & foremost, he was wearing a saffron colored dress even in US. What is he trying to convey? He wants to convert US also into Hindutva nation? If he was insistent on saffron, he should have worn skull cap as well to prove his secular credentials to the world. -Just before the event, there was a tussle between Rajdeep Sardesai and Modi supporters. Modi must have condemned that act in his speech. -He went all the way to US and told them that the 21st century belongs to Asia. Isnt that an insult to US? It is like visiting someones house and praising somebody else. Would you go to Hemas house and praise about Sheela? Is that why Hema would invite you? -He talked about Indians turning from snake charmers to mouse charmers. There is no logic in this at all. More than 90% of the Indians now use Laptops (which have touchpad but not mouse), smartphones & tablets (which have touchscreen but not mouse). Either he is totally outdated and still in 1990s, or he wants to mislead people with statistically false information. -He tried to influence the Indian-Americans to return to India by saying yaha ke logo ko..ek pav bharat me rakhna padega. Means he wants even industry leaders like Satya Nadella to betray their companies (like Microsoft) and come to India? Also, more than 30% of the employees in Microsoft are Indians. If they all return to India, Microsoft will collapse. He does not care about Microsofts future? How will I get updates for my favorite Internet Explorer browser then? -He said India is the youngest nation with the oldest culture. So, what is he trying to prove? If he is trying to prove that young is good and hence our nation is good, then it implies that old is bad and hence our culture is bad. Or if he is trying to prove that old is good and hence our culture is good, then that implies that the nation which is young, is bad. I am confused. -He talked about Gandhi giving us Azadi. All that is fine but now we want Swaraj. Why did he not speak of giving Swaraj to India? He is not krantikaari enough to talk about Swaraj? -He did some calculations of Mars Mission & concluded that it the per kilometer cost was cheaper than an auto fare in Gujarat. Why compare it with Gujarat and not Mumbai? Because Mumbai is ruled by Congress Govt? Why is he mixing politics? Moreover, if he had implemented Jan Lokpal & Swaraj, the cost of ISRO mission would have further come down due to transparency. Yehi toh scam hai ji. Maybe the cost per kilometer would have been cheaper than walking itself. That is the power of Jan Lokpal. -So many times, he used the word bharosa. In English, it (bharosa) translates to Reliance. Bingo!! Means he was trying to subconsciously hypnotize us by promoting Reliance. This is enough to prove that he is Ambani agent!! This is the most communal, confusing, unapologetic, aimless, crony-capitalistic speech I have ever seen/heard. This is not the reason I had voted Modi for. Feeling betrayed!!
