Deeply disappointed by Modis Teachers Day interaction. -He says teachers have lost respect in todays society and he wants to uplift it. How dare he says such things against teachers? Atleast on this day, he could have pretended to act like as if teachers are the most respected professionals in our nation and maybe simply said (lied) that they are paid handsomely (Just to make them happy. Afterall, today is the day to make them happy). -He says there is great demand for teachers in the world and since India is young and has talent, it must produce great teachers and export them. What???? Seriously?? Throughout the election campaign he used to say India First and now he wants to export teachers to foreign countries? It has become Foreign First now? -He says doctors & engineers should teach atleast 1 hour per week in a school. I dont know about doctors but engineers in IT industry hardly get time to even sleep. Their bosses call even in the middle of the night to fix critical bugs & work on immediate software releases. Asking engineers to teach just shows that Modi is least bothered about the health & concern of engineers. He could have instead proposed IT industry to give 1 hour off to engineers per week. -He suggested children to read inspirational biographies. If children read such inspirational stuff, when will they read for their exams? He could have instead suggested them to spend that time to mug up & revise the teachers notes 6th time so that it would fetch more marks. If it is summer vacation, he could have suggested them to start studying next years syllabus as soon as they finish this years exams. -He asked students to keep the child in them alive, keep smiling & playing. If they do that, padai kaun karega aur marks kaun dega? If children keep playing, it benefits toys, sports & video game companies. This shows that there is a big nexus between toy companies & Modi Govt. Yehi toh scam hai ji!! -Finally, the most dangerous of all: he started showed his true saffron color by gifting Bhagavad Gita to few students today. How on earth can a PM of a secular, liberal & progressive nation gift a communal book and influence tender minds like this? Ok. Nothing illegal in gifting Gita, but why not Quran & Bible as well? We are secular. This is the most absurd, inhumane, childish, communal interaction I have ever seen. This is not the reason I had voted Modi for. Feeling betrayed!!
