Defense Ministry of Kobanî Canton announced that those who want to join resistance of Kobanî should contact to YPG Military Assembly so that they can together establish a multicultural and democratic Syria. The ministry issued an announcement on the resistance of YPG against ISIS gangs in Kobanî, saying that “ Since September 14 2014, ISIS gangs have been attacking Kobanî with heavy guns they seized from Syrian and Iraqi army. By destroying the rural areas of Kobanî, they threaten resisting citizens and plan to carry out massacres and occupy th city. This resisting force is made up by YPG, YPJ and some battalions of FSA. Despite their limited sources and number of fighters, they try to defend the civilians and tens of them lost their lives. These joint forces aim to defend whole Syria. FSAa demand to join the resistance in Kobanî is not new. Some of its battalions are already fighting ISIS in the Burkan al-Firat in cooperation with YPG and YPJ. They have been resisting against ISIS brutality since 8 months. We call on all forces who want to cooperate with YPG and YPJ must have consult to YPG Military Assembly. Hawar news agency
