Delay in Exams The suggestion put foreword by education minster - TopicsExpress

Delay in Exams The suggestion put foreword by education minster for shifting exams from October to March session is not a good move because of few reasons. The students will lose its six months which is a big loss. Students from Kashmir will lose the chance to compete on country level for the various courses as all the competitive exams start from April each year, so if the exams will be scheduled in March and April session, our wards have to wait for another year for the competitive exams. Our examinations were being held in March and April session during 1970s when Chief minster Shiekh Muhammad Abdullah changed it to October and November session after great consultations. That saved the time for the Kashmiri students. The best solution is to conduct the exams in December and January with reduced syllabus.
