Deliveryman Surrenders 48-year old Gerald Hilton Lord of the 6800 block of Cinnamon Creek Circle, Fayetteville, has been released from Womack Army Hospital and has surrendered to Cumberland County Sheriff’s Detectives. Arrest warrants were issued for the food deliveryman responsible for a shooting that happened last week. Lord has been hospitalized since March 10, 2014 following an altercation with a local high school student that turned violent and resulted in a superficial wound to the student, Thomas Earl Jacobs, and a substantial wound to Lords forearm. Lord is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, trespassing, and assault by pointing a gun. He is being processed into the Cumberland County Detention Center.
