Democracy Under Threat in India: Again a despicable intention (move) by the current GOI (that has failed miserably and shown no/very poor performance) to disbar Opinion polls. These practices are very common in the democracies including ones in the US or Canada. It would curtail freedom of speech and take India one step backward. Instead, TV debates between major political parties and so called their ‘mouth piece’ must be encouraged so that entire population can see the caliber of their To-be-representatives. As a result, the people can judge wisely and therefore can elect a better government that can DELIVER.
