Democracy did and does wonders. Making Chaiwala a PM is only possible in a system that believes in equality rather than caste or creed. The good thing is his agenda was not hatred, wild rhetoric, Hinduwata or bashing other people, not excluding some isolated rants though, but rather than on development, transparency and promise of good future based on a tested and stable model. The election agenda was Do you accept Gujarat Model?, I am not defending the whole of Gujarat model or neither I am its blind supporter but thats how his whole campaign was executed. Good sign to see development based politics rather than hollow ideological dogmatic politics. Lets all hope that Modi government bring prosperity and let the huge economic development trickle down the masses and lets all hope that his regime uphold the ideals of Secularism.
