Dennie is only the second foster dog I have had. I have been - TopicsExpress

Dennie is only the second foster dog I have had. I have been fortunate enough to have fosters readily available to open their homes to give these less fortunate pets a loving second chance. Every foster I personally have had...I fall in love with. Saffie was my first because of her sudden onset of parvo, I chose to keep her close until she was well enough to go to her furever home. She became a part of my family and my heart and yes it was hard letting her go but She has a wonderful life and a wonderful family loving her now and that makes me smile. Although I have only had Dennie one week in my home I am already falling fast. I learn something new about him everyday and he learns something new as well. One thing that I would be willing to bet my life on is...this dog was never a hunting dog. He was definately part of someones family once. His only desire is to be by my side, get his daily rub downs and kiss as many people or dogs he can get his tongue on. I have never met a dog that wishes to please as much as Dennie does. He is such a big goof with his big ole head and droopy lips, he makes me smile just looking at him. I especially like his crooked little legs and that tail that NEVER stops wagging. I cant wait to get him around children because I think he really misses them. Tonight he went into his crate without me even asking him. Quite a leap from the dog I had to use my whole body to push him into his crate. That only tells me that he trust me and he feels is safe....and loved. ~Tamara
