Desirae asks - Hi Mommas! Any advice for killing yeast on cloth diapers naturally? Were battling our second time of having it, and Im going crazy! LO is on probiotics, I eat greek yogurt daily, havent been on any new antibiotics or medications. Hes EBF, havent introduced solids yet. Hes changed at a max every two hours. We use various pocket diapers with either GMD prefolds or hemp to stuff. We wash every other day, doing a warm rinse, full wash with tide free and clear, and second rinse. We line dry, and sun at least once a week. For the first round I did a bleach soak of every diap, did a normal wash routine, and used sposies for 10 days while using an anti-fungal cream. Its been around 2 months since this last stich, so I dont think this is remaining from last time. Im not about to quit CDing, but really dont want to deal with this every two months. Im going to cut some liners from micro fleece and go back to the cloth in the next day or so, once the visible rash is gone and were just doing maintenance with the cream. And, will bleach each wash. But, this is exhausting, and my daycare is going to curse my name here soon. I also need to figure out how to kill the yeast on any blankets or changing covers. My mom made us some beautiful blankets that weve done nakie time on and theres no way to bleach those, but I need to ensure the yeast is killed!
