Despite a face plant on the hard wood/fat lip this morning (scooting too fast), today was a great day for Ronan!! The obvious -- the positive MRI report and improvement of vision -- but also a few moments with Ronan and his big brother that were just priceless. Hes really starting to communicate with purpose and passion! Hes using his words and voice to express what he needs and wants -- its AMAZING! Today during his OT eval, he was yelling the therapists names -- calling for their attention, scooting around the room shouting er are uuuu??? and get you! This evening when I gave him a small piece of chocolate he very passionately told me no! when I tried to take a piece. I asked him if he liked it and he very passionately said YES! And tonight, after I turned the lights off and when I went to put him down, he grabbed his pacifier out of his mouth (hey - dont judge!) and said, Mama!! Book! -- and pointed to his book shelf. I said, do you want me to read you a book? And, he said -- yes! I read him 4. Declan read him 1! He asked for more... hes smart that little man. Hes figured out pretty quickly how to charm to avoid the inevitable!
