**Destiny Update** Destiny is now back in the arms of her very loving foster mum she was very happy to be reunited with her and greeted her with love, licks and a very waggly bum and happy tail movement. The surgeon has advised that Destiny has significant arthritis in the right elbow and has worn away much of the cartilage on the inside joint. Both the left and the right elbows will develop arthritis with time, however the right will be more severe. X-rays were carried out on her hips and spine and they are in perfect condition. We would also like to say a special thank you to one of the vet nurses who gave Destiny extra special love and attention during her stay in the hospital, she is our GSD Vet Angel and although we cannot name her, she knows who she is .. Thank you xx The road for Destiny from here is going to be a long and slow process, we have a Animal Physiotherapist developing an exercise program for Destiny and we have numerous return visits for check ups with the surgeon booked and we can only hope and pray for the best outcome for her. We will keep you all updated as she makes this journey.
