Destiny gets to witness an act of generosity first hand! I was working drive-thru yesterday. My job is to take the orders and hand out the change at the first window. The line was long yesterday afternoon and it was very hot and humid outside where I work. This lady paid with a twenty dollar bill for her order. I opened my register drawer, inserted her twenty dollar bill and then proceeded to pull out her $16.07 in return. I tried to hand her the money. She told me to keep it and to pay for as many orders behind her as I could. Her given money paid for at least 7 people in line behind her!! I love when people do this--usually it’s only for one person behind them though!! Their faces always are shocked and they have that look of amazement on their faces as well. I find it reassuring that there are really generous people like that still in this world. #payitforward #kindness #compassion ♥ shared with love, PIF Crew ♥ pif1day ♥
