If it is a Religious Festival, but there is no trace of Social, Religious & Spiritual Conductivity in mind & Chitta (mind stuff, psyche) ,then can it be called Religious Festival ? The Process of continuous inner purification is called DIWALI. Since Diwali is associated with the victory of Lord Rama over Divine Rawan, the victory of TRUTH over DECEIT, and with the victory of Goddess Bhagwati over the Demons, then we must consider whether Ravana is really dying or not ? Today RAVANA roams with delight in everys individual body, senses, mind & chitta. Look inside the mind of anyone and you will see the Lanka of desire for worldly Objects i.e. materialism. There is no hint hint at all of the presence of Lord Rama, so what kind of Diwali is ?. Either do not call these Divine Festival Religious or, if you must , make more effort to proceed in that direction. TODAY DIWALI HAS BEEN REDUCED TO A FESTIVAL OF GAMBLING. OTHER DEMONIC TENDENCIES FOLLOW SUIT & SO FORTH. ALL THIS IS DONE IN THE NAME OF DIWALI FESTIVAL. Why we does not respect SELFLESSNESS.?
