Diabetes UK need your support for their Big Collection Weekend! They are working with Tesco to raise 10 million to create healthier communities, and to help support those affected by, and at risk of, diabetes. On the 4, 5 and 6 October they are hold collections at around 600 Tesco stores. Could you give 3 hours of your time to support the Big Collection at a Tesco store near you? I will be at Tesco on Newcastle Road (A34) Stoke on Trent - 6th October and would appreciate your help. Either by donating, showing your support on the day or just simply posting this on your wall. The funds raises will be invested in: Life-changing support for a million people with diabetes, so they feel less scared and isolated by their condition Preventing thousands of future cases of Type 2 diabetes, meaning that fewer families are affected by the devastating effects of this condition Research into a vaccine that could stop forever the development of Type 1 diabetes in children.
