Diane Meyer and her son Cory, reunited today after 33 years. Ours was the first home he lived in, when Diane was a teenager, though he doesnt remember it since he wasnt born yet. :) He was placed for adoption, a wise and compassionate choice, and I met the adoptive parents at our house in 1981, not seeing them again until a few months ago. What a privilege today to join a houseful together, as we celebrated with Corys wonderful adoptive family and Dianes amazing family, all lovers of Jesus. Cory is a very special young man, What a pleasure to get to know him and to see him with Diane, who is so precious to Nanci and me, sort of like a daughter and a sister to us. Photo also with Cory and his sister Amy and brother Josiah (Diane and Rod Meyers children), who he also met face to face today, though theyve been communicating for months.Then, Cory with Shari and Diane, two absolutely incredible women and moms. An unforgettable day of rejoicing and bonding. Thank you, our God of grace and providence, for orchestrating all this in such a beautiful way. Jesus was all over the place. And has been at work all these years in amazing ways. Thanks, Diane, for making the right choice 33 years ago, which God has honored and blessed beyond measure.
