RSSPrint Yoruba Elders in the Diaspora under the banner of the Igbimo Agba Yoruba - (The Yoruba Council Of Elders) - Europe & America Chapter are launching fundraising efforts towards the establishment of a Yoruba Village in London. The complex will have a Museum and Library, Supermarkets and Wholesale Retail Units, Restaurants, Offices and Meeting Rooms; and Banqueting, Events, Conference and Meeting Rooms. According to the organisers, the launch holds "with the approval and blessings of all Yoruba Royal Fathers of Nigeria and in the presence of our Royal Father for the Day - His Imperial Majesty, Alayeluwa, Oba Dr. Papa Okunade Sijuade CFR, Olubuse II, The Oni of Ile Ife; supported by all Governors of the six Yoruba States of Nigeria." The President-General of the Igbimo Agba Yoruba World Wide (Yoruba Council of Elders Worldwide) - General (Dr.) Elder Adeyinka Adebayo (Rtd.) CFR OFR is also expected to attend the event. The two-part launch takes place at Grange Tower Bridge Hotel in London on Sunday 25 August 2013 from 2pm. The first part which is a "Fundraising Dinner and Official Declaration for the establishment of the Yoruba Village," runs from 2pm to 7pm with tickets costing £50 per head. The second part which runs from 7pm - Midnight with admission based on "generous donations at the door" is the lighter segment of the launch with a Bar provided. Music will be provided by Ade Royale.
