If your UA comes out dirty (including pot), then youre out. - social worker Cindy In most cases, marijuana can be detected in a simple urine test for 7 to 30 days after consumption - many, many, many hours after the substance has ceased to affect behavior and/or legal liability risk. Also, over-the-counter cold remedies and sleep aids containing antihistamines, used by so many in the cold, contagious winter months here, are notorious for triggering multiple false positives. This is the problem with most drug testing (including that done in my own office) - it correlates only poorly with behavior, and is not a proxy for trustworthiness, truthfulness, or, you know, need for shelter from the cold.
