Did anyone watch Eat, fast, and live longer on SBS last night? It is interesting viewing but it only tells part of the story. Intermittent fasting is a weight loss tool that you can use But it is not a magic fix. It will work if it leads you to a calorie deficit at the end of your week (just as any other plan will work too) However, if you fast for 2 days, then overeat for 5 days, you may still put on weight and wonder where it all went wrong. And if you fast for 2 days and then calorie restrict for the other 5 days - you might be at risk of slowing down your metabolism. Lastly - there is a very long list of people who should NOT try fasting. I will be doing an in depth lesson on it in my face to face Fat Flush Master-class tomorrow night. Really excited about sharing this knowledge.
