Did my good deed for the day, was walking to the store with Luca to get smokes and I noticed on to the I5s, 705 and I5n junction there was a poor dog running thru all the lanes, obviously scared. I walked down with Luca, after watching numerous people almost hit him, then he started running towards I5n, I didnt want him to keep running from me so, in defeat I started to turn around, got probably 20 steps and decided to try one last time. This time, there was a dude stopped with a van, but the dog wouldnt go to him and he started to run towards me, I get all goofy talking with him and he came right up to Luca and wants to play, poor baby, its paw was bleeding but the cutest pitty youd ever seen. Dude with the van walked up and checked the tags, he was going to take him home. The pitty wouldnt go anywhere with the guy (you could tell the dude was a getting a little nervous, lol) so Luca and I walked him to the guys van, both dogs with their tails wagging. The guys said that if no one was home, he would just hold on to the dog until they got in touch, since he was a pitty, he didnt want a shelter to do anything bad to him. Glad I turned around and all is well in the world again.
