Did you ever notice how difficult it is to write a sentence and understand the purpose of every single word (or, at the very least, every phrase) in context? Hell, I used an iffy one just then: "very least." I get that it implies the most base derivation of the aforementioned item, but "least" alone carries the same connotation. "Very" is marking emphasis, but how the heck do ya emphasize the "simplest part of simple?"
