Did you go to The White House for Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday celebration last night? No? I didn’t either. I got dressed at 4:30, because my mailman usually comes about 5. I had been expecting an invitation in the mail all week and this was the last chance. Surely he’d have it today. He brought me a Direct TV bill, an Incredible Edibles flyer, and a notice that I could win a $10,000,000 sweepstakes, but no invitation to the big party. How long can it possibly take to get a piece of mail 12.7 miles down the road. Hell, I could have come and picked it up myself. Well I woke up on the couch this morning, having slept there all night in my party duds. I was by the door waiting for The FedEx man all night. I figured that was my last, last chance, but he didn’t come thru either. I checked my email’s spam folder and my text messages this morning and there was nothing. I prefer to think that they just forgot about me, but maybe they just didn’t want me there. That’s cool. I Love you anyway and still sung Happy Birthday to you last night on my couch. But I’ll tell you this, and you can bet on it, I’m never gonna to vote for your husband for President again.
